Model measuring her waist with a tape
Step 1

How to measure

Keep the tape level and snug against the body, not digging in. Measure over thin layers or bare skin.

Measuring the bust at the fullest point01

Bust

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it level across your back. Used for tanks, tees and the dress.

Measuring the underbust band02

Underbust (band)

Measure directly under your bust where a bra band sits. Snug and level. This sets your sports bra size.

Measuring the natural waist03

Waist

Find the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button. Breathe normally and don't pull in.

Measuring the hips at the fullest point04

Hip

Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat. This is the one to trust for leggings.

Fit note:

Between sizes?

For leggings, shorts and bras, size down for a compressive, sculpted feel or up for a softer hold. When in doubt, go with your waist size. That's where you want to be comfiest. For sweaters, zip-ups and the tracksuit jacket, size up for an oversized look. They're already cut relaxed.

Still not sure?

Send us your measurements and the piece you're eyeing and we'll tell you what we'd pick. And if it's not right, exchanges are easy.
